Learning by doing, cause an effort will not end useless

Hello there guys,
How's life? Well guys, when I redesign my beloved blog yesterday, I suddenly have a passion and big desire to write all the time and then post on my blog. Late consciousness actually, too late, because I have a lots of stories, a lot of moments haven't been published and written! So, here I am in front of my laptop, typing, and want to share what happen today. Happy reading :D

Okay, today I and some of my friends, their names are Febri and Maya, had a big project. We were doing a preliminary round of an accounting competition. It was online and we were given 3 hours to do the task. At the first I thought that it will be easy because 3 hours is a long time, but when the committee sent the task to our email, I was, mm, shocked. Haha, the tasks was a little bit complicated and because we don't have the books they suggested as the reference, so we don't make it fully completed. Poor us, we have to spend IDR 125.000 for this preliminary round and we can't fight for best. Well, we are waiting for the announcement at the end of this month. Accepted? Alhamdulillah. Rejected? Well, at least we learned a lot, experiences creates you smarter, right?

There was something happened today, something that may give us a lesson, life lesson. Well, we realized that we can't do our best because lack of reference, time limits, internet connection, etc. We also realized that we just build our capacity to be better and stronger, so in the journey we took we just want to take all the experience. Learning every second, make every mistaken points as a lesson for the next journey. Ya, we are not that noble by not expecting the best, by not expecting the reward or the achievement. We admit that, for sure. For some reasons, some times we were envy for another team's achievement or some of us felt guilty if we didn't do our best. Getting rush in the injury time, and try to forgive all the team's mistakes. That was what happen today. We have mistakenly send the wrong file as our answer to the committee, and we realized 2 minutes before the time was over. Haha, I can laugh at the moment but back then I was confused and feel like omg-we-do-the-biggest-stupid-mistake! But, we could cover it, perfectly! Proud of my partners, Febri and Maya.

From that experience we had today, a mistake we did, we can take three lessons.

First, we need to calm down every time. Even though we are in the injury time, there is no need to rush. Getting rush will disturb our work, destroy our concentration, and place us in the condition where we don't know what to do. So, calm down, relax, and do everything elegantly.

Second, don't feel guilty. In team, every action we do is team's action. So, in team activity don't say sorry for making mistake because it will leave you feel bad. Just, take the mistake as a lesson and promise yourself that mistake won't be happened twice. Learning by doing, cause when it comes to our passion we will never get good enough.

And the last lesson I get is learn more. Haha.. Ya, I am sure that I need to learn more. Today I did Advanced Accounting that I took the lesson in my 4th semester (I am 6th now). I almost forget all the material given by my lecturer (how come!). So, I need to open my book as much as possible, read and understand the material, and learn to make fast anwer (we will be limited by time in a competition, so we need to think fast).

Well, that's all my life lessons today. We will make another step to strengthen our accounting by join another competition. May we can, at the end, have a great achievement, because I believe that an effort will not end useless.

See ya on another experience ^^
